James Patrick Digger Dunn (20 August 1887 – 21 November 1945) was an English-born Australian politician. Born in Liverpool, he received a primary education before migrating to Australia in 1903, where he became a miner and shearer. He was an organiser with the Australian Workers' Union and the Sydney Vice-President of the Iron Trades Federation. He served in the military 1915-1919. In 1928, he was elected to the Australian Senate for New South Wales, as a member of the Labor Party. In the 1931 Labor split, Dunn joined the Lang Labor group. He contested the 1934 election under this heading but was defeated. He died in 1945. ==References==
